The Unofficial SRW Unification Character Tropes Page!
It's time for: Someone Else Actually Makes A 4koma Post For Once - Derp Edition.
Today, it's to address our lack of a TVTropes page for SRW: Unification.
To explain this to our newer players, the previous game (Unlimited Generations Alpha) had a TVTropes page dedicated to the game in general, in addition to a list of Awesome and Funny moments, and a Characters page for Original Characters that were in the game. The mods have decided not to continue this with SRW:U because of some legitimate concerns with how the website operates, such as anyone being free to delete the entries.
Anyway! This post doesn't address the first three categories, but only the Characters section.
And as with UG@, this post is mainly for OCs, and semi-OCs - the latter in cases like Leos, who, in his original canon, is depicted as a faceless, voiceless player character. Established, canon characters are assumed to follow their original tropes, so there isn't much of a point in listing them.
So, which tropes describe your character best and why do you think so? Feel free to add as many as you'd like, but mind your spoilers (if you don't want them revealed) and please, try not to annoy others with YMMV stuff and usage of 'And how!'.
Have fun!
(By the way, this was posted with the Nep journal because I was a derp and didn't join the 4koma community with Seta's, hence the title.)
Small edit: Yes, I'm aware that traditionally, others are supposed to add tropes for your character - this is still an option, especially if you're trope-blind to them. But to make sure everyone is happy, that will not be a necessity.
In other words, you can make a comment to your own character's initial tag with your own list if you'd prefer that. If you don't know or missed something, others can do that for you. Hope that helps.
Oh, each person contributing to a character's list should also edit their tag instead of adding a fresh new tag if they missed anything. This keeps things clean.

Trademark Favorite Food: Pudding (Hi Nep!)
Stepford Smiler: Averted... I think. While he is crazy as hell, a good amount of his smiles are real.
This is Unforgivable/Berserk Button: His mindset/reaction towards people who harm/kill either his friends or civilians. As such why he always tries to kill Terrorists painfully.
Transhuman/Cyborg: After the cybernetic enhancements of his Human PLUS surgeries.
Older than he looks: Is actually Nineteen to the shock of many who find out. Most people assume him to be under fifteen due to his boyish appearance and general immaturity.
no subject
Revenge Before Reason: When faced with Hustler One/Nineball. Oh man.
Heroic BSOD: After the UG's first encounter against the BETA and the Cruel and Unusual Death that happened during the mission.
(More to be added later.)
no subject
Mundane Utility: Uses his ability to interface with electronics to... play video games, watch TV, and reprogram cleaner bots.
Seta Albreich
no subject
Big Eater: Apparently if she did win a large amount of money she would have bought a meat processing plant. Imagine how large her appetite must be if THAT was what she wanted to get.
Moe: Look at her icons. Look at the things she does in her posts. That is... if you can survive.
Not quite human: Is actually a Kijin, and the human form that interacts with people is not her real body. Which is a very good thing because...
Cruel and Unusual Death: Said body suffered a horrible horrible death at the teeth of the BETA. Literally being reduced to nothing more than a bloodstain. It got better after some...
Death by Irony: Killed the BETA that devoured her human body by eating them in a shout out to Kouta Hirano's Hellsing. Amusingly she found the taste of BETA disgusting. One can only imagine her reaction when she gets told that she actually ate reprocessed humans.

Defector from Decadence: like all members of Gloster Foundation.
Dojikko
Humanoid Abomination (replaces Not Quite Human from Jockey's post)
Shout Out: A lot to Devil May Cry series, also some to Hellsing.

Fish out of Water - What happens when you spend most of your life alone or with the other socially awkward members of your race who are mostly battle-crazed, and then suddenly get thrown into working with a team of complete strangers.
Human Hummingbird - When frightened or in a panicked state.
Guns Akimbo - Seta carries two giant handguns/cannons called Etraire and Merlot. This is a Shout Out to Hellsing's Alucard, who carries guns so large and unwieldy that no regular human can effectively use them. Additionally...
Bottomless Magazines - Seta's guns will never run out of bullets. The ammunition is formed by her Kijin powers.
Let's Get Dangerous - When things get serious and nasty, so does she. Most of the time.
Training From Hell - At the hands of her teacher. There are surprisingly very good results, but she doesn't show them because they are meant for the enemy.
Muscles Are Meaningless - Applies to all Kijin in their human forms. Despite her lack of giant muscles, she is physically capable of lifting large, heavy objects, like cars, with minimal effort. But like the results of the training above, she doesn't like to use this without a good reason, and prefers not to talk about it.
A Form You Are Comfortable With - Seta and the other Kijin take human forms because this makes it a lot easier to avoid unwanted attention - not that it helps much when they're actually seen, because they still behave oddly. It also conserves their energy until they actually need it.
Summon Magic - How she uses her mecha, which is actually more of a mystical humanoid armor based on the ancient 'prototype' versions, and further inspired by modern mecha. When in Partial mode, where its form is only disembodied limbs that appear from magic circles, it is also a Shout Out to Bayonetta's Wicked Weaves.
Summon to Hand - All of the weapons Seta can use are capable of this. The magic variant in this case.

Horny Devils: Averted. When Ren says she loves everyone she means it in a platonic and unconditional way. Additionally she has...
Barbie Doll Anatomy: While having a feminine form, she has zero genitalia or other things associated with procreation. Possibly due to the fact that she is an...
Artificial Human: Who was definitely born in a tube.
All loving hero: Is this, even towards her kin who wish to devour her flesh. One would believe that if she had a setting switch it would read 'Kindness & Compassion' and 'off'.

No Gender: Ren's body comes with in-universe Barbie Doll Anatomy, and they do not identify with either gender. Doesn't stop people from assuming Ren's female, a mistake which they may or may not correct depending on a whim.
Perpetual Smiler: Regardless of circumstance, Ren's face is almost always twisted in a light smile. Also a Stepford Smiler of sorts, as Ren realizes suffering people go through but must remain optimistic regardless.

Hetepheres
no subject
Cute Monster Girl: High ranked Gebian soldiers receive cyborgization that turns their form humanoid.
Cyborg
Iron Lady
Lady of War
Large and in Charge: Deliberately invoked in-universe.
Mo Cap Mecha: Pilots one.
Moral Myopia: Shown by the villainous Anti-Earthling Party, who protect all Gebian lives but think nothing of human ones. Hetepheres on the other hand averts it to a scary degree, not hesitating to kill her own daughter because she attacked civilians.
Weaksauce Weakness: Hetepheres' mecha Scaraber is easily tripped, and if it falls on its back it can't get up without help. Harmful for both combat performance and the pilot's dignity.
Re: Hetepheres
Comically Serious: Is very much this.
Horned Beetle Cyborg (Horned Humanoid)
no subject
Deadpan Snarker: Has occasionally trolled Seta.
Deflector Shield: High-ranking Gebian machines possess a "Noble Barrier", which alternates every turn between being able to take the edge off most energy (silver setting) or physical (gold setting) attacks.
Volya Alkaev & Interitus
no subject
Kid Hero: Only thirteen years old, making him one of the younger members of the Unity Group.
Expy: Interitus couldn't be more Derpfestor-like if he tried.
Friend To All Living Things: Unless an enemy is an absolute monstrous scumbag, you can count on Volya and Interitus to not fight to kill. And fortunately, they're also...
Techncial Pacifist: Many of Interitus's attacks are based around non-lethally incapacitating enemies.
Anti-Antichrist: Foretold by the Sidereal Tapestry to be responsible for the end of the world. The dissonance between this prophecy and his behavior is what leads the Unity Group to side with him over the Knights of the Guiding Hand.
no subject
Ambigously Brown + Red Eyes Take Warning: Considering his family was Russian (and caucasian), it only made him stand out more.
The Immune: He survived the rare and deadly disease that claimed his mother. Because of that not only is he immune to its effects, but his blood can be used as antidote for others who have it.
Power of Friendship: Broke out from Lilica's Zone of Absolute Despair thanks to this.
Survivor Guilt: Over his parents AND his uncle.

no subject
Green Thumb: Has a plant kaiju under his command and is a top notch gardener, he qualifies.
Screw Destiny: Does not seem to agree with the idea that it's his destiny to bring ruin to the world. Helping him Screw Destiny is half the reason UG keeps Volya around.
Mizuki Onodera
no subject
Our
ElvesVampires Are DifferentYounger Than She Looks - despite being physically and mentally an adult, she's only 10 years old
Bizarre Taste in Food - though it's less "taste" and more "restriction". She can't eat anything that was grown under the sun, and an attempt at doing so usually ends in a Waterfall Puke.
Kicking Ass in All Her Finery/Bling of War - the pilot suit she automatically summons when controlling DuskBird can barely even be called that.

Re: Mizuki Onodera
Ever since the Great Black Void's consciousness has been destroyed, Mizuki's nobility and heroism makes the use of Void Energy more this trope than, say, The Heartless.
Anti-Anti Christ:
Which is why she and Volya get along a bunch.
Walt Schmertz

Surprisingly Elite Cannon Fodder: The 08th Genoace Team uses what's generally considered the weakest mook in the game. In spite of that, they've done a good job staying alive and after getting DODS Guns they've managed to rack up a decent killcount.
Eyes Do Not Belong There: Although it was temporary, Walt's left arm wound up being covered in eyes due to exposure to the anomalous black dome...
Eye Scream: ... And he tried gouging them all out with a fork at least on one occasion.
no subject
Redshirt Army: Him and his team are this due to them being Genoace Pilots. However the fact that they fight enemies far beyond their scope often and refuse to budge unless they have to has other players doing their damnedest to keep them alive.
Catchphrase: "I'M IN DESPAIR! THIS X HAS LEFT ME IN DESPAIR" this is usually followed by some form of insane troll logic or a story of one of his friends dying or both.
Body Horror: His canon is full of this this. One would assume from his PB and his group of ridiculously expendable wingmen it would be relatively silly. Well whatever silliness and comedy becomes extremely bleak in the missions due to the horrifically twisted monsters that would be right at home in a high octane nightmare fuel horror game. What happens to his arm also counts - becoming filled with eyes that allow him to see things beyond normal sight and despite being medically regarded as some seriously disturbing tumors not connected to anything... he knows full well they work.
no subject
Sour Supporter: Cynical and grumpy about both Unity Group and his own squad, but stays loyal and genuinely cares for them.
Re: Walt Schmertz
Insane Troll Logic: Walt's leaps of logic could humble an Olympic athlete sometimes, to much amusement of the players.
Comical Overreacting: Walt's basic modus operandi.
Eva Barton
no subject
The Empath: Amusingly, since she also has...
No Social Skills
Stalker Without a Crush: Often watches other members of Unity Group for various reasons.
Strange Girl
Skald Skogkattson

Cool Cat
Defector from Decadence: Only two members of C.L.A.W. decided to oppose the evil cat organisation, and Skald is one of them.
No Animals Were Harmed: Even no-name mook pilots of C.L.A.W. always get away safely after their units are shot down.
Proud Warrior Race Guy: Well, cat.
Transforming Mecha: The Smilodon has melee and ranged forms, with Skald and Archibald respectively as the "active" pilot.
Tsundere: Haughty, arrogant and prone to threats of mauling people, but easily placated by soft pillows and such.

Boisterous Bruiser

Peola Nelfess

Psychic Powers: Seems to be able to detect people without seeing them.

No Sense of Direction: Typical for characters of Astara's player.
Playing With Fire
Rogue Agent: Though not a member of a government agency, she started acting independently of Gloster Foundation. Or maybe she just got very lost.
Shout Out: If Seta is Vergil, then Astara is Dante.
Super Strength (Actually Seta should have that too)

The Power of The Sun:
The Fettered: Despite the explicit goal of killing Volya, she refuses to take advantage of his vulnerability on several different occasions. Even gives Lilica a chance to stop being evil and flee after the demon starts mind-raping Volya.
Wuxia and Magical Girl:Both serious influences for her.

Because guess.
Never be Hurt Again:
Due to the tragedy she went through when she ignored the prophecy about her partner's descent into darkness, she reacts poorly to people who question the accuracy of the Sidereal Tapestry.

Older than they look: A relatively mild example, but despite looking like she's in her mid-teens, she's 23 and a grad.
