How much of a murderous bastard are you?
Remember the last post about power level? This one is similar, but it's about how your dudes and dudettes act towards the bags of flesh piloting robots we fight on missions. The levels are:
Technical Pacifist
Shoots to disable, goes out of his/her way to avoid killing enemies whenever possible. Some of those characters can throw way their pacifism in special circumstances, though.
Paragon Shepard
Doesn't shoot to kill on purpose, but won't cry if an enemy goes boom during a fight. Goes easy on the enemies if they're misguided good guys, and is capable of mercy.
Renegade Shepard
Uses the most efficient and fastest ways of getting rid of enemies and doesn't care what will it do to them or who they are. If you're against them, you're open season.
Kill Everything
Goes out of his/her way to kill enemies, even if other options are available and easier. Mercy? What's that?

Werter - usually Technical Pacifist, but limited to humans and other obviously sapient races.
Tobia - being a Technical Pacifist is more or less Crossbone Vanguard's gimmick (in addition to being pirates), so yeah.
Lily - Paragon Shepard. Turns into Renegade Shepard when using Trance Mode, but she doesn't have that anymore.
Raynor - Paragon Shepard. Not that he's in the game yet.

Samus is Renegade Shepard most of the time. If the best way to stop you from harming others is to disable your mech, she'll do that. If it is to cook you inside your own cockpit with a microwave beam, she'll do that too, without a second thought.

Zero is Paragon Shepard kindof by default due to using her own faction's dead to make stalkers. She doesn't enjoy it though and will always take the more merciful option if all things are equal.
Arakne is Paragon Shepard. She thinks killing is bad for society in general but will do it if she has to.

Kincaid is HELLA Paragon. Berah told him not to kill the Jovians, so he's trying not to, but he's not going to lose any sleep if they do get killed. Also, he fell into the cockpit of a gundam when he was a teenager. You don't do that and then turn out to be a raging murderfucker.
Hayato is...probably somewhere between Renegade and KILL EVERYTHING. He WANTS to kill everything, but he's older now, and has cooled off enough that he doesn't tend to get carried away and go off to murderland.

Sora is Paragon full stop. Unless you hurt her friends. Then she hacks in a few hundred Renegade points for a bit. Don't worry, they're not permanent... probably.
Jukai is a pacifist by design; she protects her interests and tries not to stir up trouble she can't handle.
Simon is presently Paragon. The timeskip moves him quite a bit further to the red side of the bar, but that's not going to be for a while yet.
Will is Renegade and loves it. As one of the Timeless, he has sweeping authority to take out threats to End of Eternity or to users of the System. Diplomacy is about as low as he can get it on his action list, just above "run away", "surrender", and "befriend (nonviolent)".

Cheng: Paragade. He'll give his enemies a fighting chance. If they surrender he'll let them off. Threaten his family, comrades, country and/or speak ill of the dead and he'll stick to the red end of the bar. Remember, he's a soldier through and through.
Michael: Paragon Shepard. What else do you expect?
Vlaska: Shockingly, this cat is Renegade.. at least on the battlefield. Only paragon with his ex-teammates.
Luger: KILL. KILL EVERYTHING. Of course that's if he actually doesn't run like a chickenshit. He IS piloting a Leo.
Mad: Formerly Paragon, moving towards Renegade.
Patrick: Conrad Verner.... wait. That's not a choice? Okay then Paragon.
And despite not yet being apped (waiting on castmates):
Ryou: is between Renegade and Kill Everything. Unless given specific orders, he WILL go for the latter.

Roads-Paragon Shepard to Renegade Shepard. It depends on how good he's feeling, the situation, whether cute innocent people are watching or not...
Yui-Straight Renegade Shepard, but for different reasons. She will kill you as much as she thinks she can get away with, no more and no less.
Charles-Renegade. You don't get to be an IS girl if you're not willing to kill someone.
Sayla-See Roads.

Devon is Renegade. You mess with her, she will try to take you down. The Gucun timeskip didn't make her any softer on this, just more driven.
Alessandra is a Paragon. For her, the battlefield is a series of honorable one-on-one duels where pardon should be offered and given. It's the bad guys' fault they do not play by the rules!
And Lan is... hard to describe, really. Pretty Paragon-ish, but it's hard to judge with the number of fights Rinne no Lagrange has.
Cough cough still didn't watch S2..no subject

Emmy - Paragon Shepard. When fighting humans she won't shoot to kill on purpose and is rather reasonable. Against monsters though, she is Kill Everything.
Momo - Paragon Shepard. She is softer against people who are misguided, since she has been there.
Seymour - Renegade Shepard. He truthfully doesn't care, especially if he is benefiting from it.
Tatsu - Paragon Shepard. Tatsu's concern isn't truthfully about killing the enemy but protecting the lounge.
Letriel - Between Renegade Shepard and Kill Everything. She likes to crush enemies but if she can find an appealing reason to not kill them, she might let them live since her real concern is her own personal gain.

Tron is also Renegade. Though it's more of 'most efficient and fastest way to get money/artifact' rather than getting rid enemies.
And Elena is obviously a technical pacifist, right? Isn't it obvious? (No she's not)

Nanoha is a Technical Pacifist with special circumstances...in canon. In UG@ however, she's more of a Paragon, given how many mobile suit and mecha pilots she has (or has inadvertently) killed.
IS Laura is 100% Renegade. You really can't be an IS girl if you're not willing to kill someone.

Bernie? He seems the "do what I can cause I'm a soldier type" and is probably close to Renegade. Or between Renegade/Paragon?
even though he tried to strike Alex's cockpit.no subject
Shoutaro is Paragon for the most part. He hasn't had a situation arise since the fall of Fanelia where he needed to actively kill people [Even the theft of GP-02 resulted in him doing nothing.]
Setsuna on the other hand started a Renegade, but he's making the shift to Paragon, and should eventually land himself at TP once the movie hits UG@

Nanohana: Paragon Shepard but wants to be a Technical Pacifist. She'll fight and defeat someone, but she wishes there was another way.
Ryouma: Renegade Shepard bordering on Kill Everything. Hey, you go through the hell he's been through and not want to push that bit.
Christine: Paragon Shepard, certainly. Would have been a Renegade Shepard before her Heel Face.
Roux: Paragon Shepard. She's a Gundam pilot, of course she's gonna be like this.
Gentarou: Technical Pacifist at best, Paragon Shepard at worse. The guy wants to befriend the world, of course he'll try to spare as many people as possible!
Kaito: Paragon Shepard. The guy would rather just abscond your spiffy new treasure than fight, but if he has to, he will. And he's brutal about it.
