Julius thinks Setsuna has issues, but is a nice guy overall. If nothing else he's a guy you'd want on your side rather than against you.

Kira thinks Setsuna is amazing, but also needs guidance. His ideals are good and his heart is in the right place but he often needs to realize that there are multiple solutions to any given problem.

Kira thinks Shinji is funny, but also troubled. He is such a good guy, but he hates himself and is all to willing to do things he doesn't believe in because he is told to.
