The Time I Piloted A Getter
To celebrate the return of Getter Robo in our game, I'm going to tell you the time I piloted a Getter.
No, really. A few weeks ago, I dreamed that I was a Getter Pilot. The setting was either the original Getter Robo or Getter Robo G, since we have Ryouma and Hayato. But obviously no Musashi or Benkei, because I'm the pilot of Getter 3!
In my dream, we were moving to intercept a shipment of new parts for Getter Robo. That is, parts that make the getter machines can transform into cars! And with that, new robot combinations.
As we were getting the shipment, suddenly there's monster attack! A giant ant was attacking the city. So we used the new parts to transform into the new combination. We decided that my machine should handle this.
My new robot combination was a treaded robot, similar to Getter 3. Except that it got drills all over its body. I attacked the giant ant monster by hugging it, and letting the drills all over the body do the rest of the job.
But no! As we almost defeated it, the ant monster talked! It said that everyone in the laboratory are currently covered with ants. And if we continue, they'll be stung to death!
And of course, as true getter pilot, we said, 'who cares!' and drilled the monster to destruction.
Fun times.
